Conditions I treat

Neck & shoulder

Most neck and shoulder pain is a load story, not a damage story.

What's actually going on

It's rarely just the sore bit.

Neck and shoulder pain rarely means something is torn or degenerating. Far more often it's about how much they're being asked to hold - hours at a desk, a training spike, or a system that's lost the strength to cope. Stretch and it eases for an hour; the pattern returns because the capacity underneath hasn't changed.

How I treat it

Find it. Calm it. Rebuild it.

I work out what's actually overloading it, settle it down, and rebuild the strength and control through the range you actually use - so it stops being a weekly conversation.

01
Find the real cause

Why it keeps happening - not just where it hurts.

02
Calm the system

Settle the pain and the worry, so you can move and trust it again.

03
Rebuild for good

Build the capacity back so it holds - not just until the next flare.

Common questions

Before you book.

Do I need a scan or a referral first? +
Usually not. Most neck & shoulder cases don't need a scan to start, and you can book directly without a referral (referrals are only for WorkCover, DVA or a Medicare care plan).
How long until I feel a difference? +
It varies with the person and how long it's been going on - but you'll leave the first session understanding what's driving it and what the plan is.

Let's sort it properly.
